Gouté

Gouté is the result of people in love by gastronomy, places and people coming together. Gouté was dreamt amongst pots and pans in Dani Hispagnol’s former restaurant. Dani has always fed her wish to live the world. At the age of 17 left home to study Gastronomy in California and has been collecting experiences around the world ever since. In the restaurant, she started being asked for tips on markets, hotels and restaurants. The tips were simply written down on napkins. The project was already on her mind when she met her former work colleague, Tatiana Simões, in a visit to The Leading Hotels of the World. And together they set up Gouté. At first, they stuffed Moleskine notebooks with tips of the best hotels and restaurants. Then, they added tours and tastings and started to design routes together with professionals of gastronomy, each of them contributing with each one’s expertise. Although the partnership came to an end they remain good friends.  Travelling around the world, Dani searched for a closer contact with nature and consequently learned a lot about food, origin and benefits. This new experiences lead her to add health experiences to Goute. Her trips with her husband and some proposals from partners inspired expedition routes to be added to Goute’s portfolio. Later two other partners came to join Gouté: Luisa Silva, who had been working as a concierge and Paula, Dani’s old friend who has a long and consistent career in Advertising and Events. Luisa soon became Dani’s right-hand partner as Gouté’s Costumer attendant and coordinator. Paula, who holds a broad knowledge on places and destinies around the world, is now responsible for Gouté’s new projects and for attending the corporative market.

Dani Hispagnol graduated in gastronomy and hospitality in California and worked for The Leading Hotels of the World. When partner of Toro, award winning restaurant that represents the Spanish gastronomy in Brazil, she used to informally prepare some gastronomic scripts around the world for some clients. The wide range of valuable information and differentiated high quality service Gouté offers lies on the fact that she has visited most of Gouté’s destinies and has built close relationship with hoteliers, tourism bureaus, farmers, chefs and sommeliers. In 2008 founded Gouté and currently writes for Top Magazine Destinos. She was invited to speak about the new luxury and the importance of criativity and identity for professional achievement to Perestroika and FAAP universities and in events of tourism ministry of Minas Gerais. She supports Canastra, a Project that has small farmers as partners and collect handmade products from Minas Gerais’s Mountains. She practices yoga, mountaineering and studies ayurveda, an ancient Indian medicine that studies the human being, nature elements and healthy food.

Luisa Silva graduated in hospitality by Anhembi Morumbi University in São Paulo. She worked in the areas of hospitality and costumer attendance in hotels and hospital. Drawn by voluntary work, she lived in Colombia for a year helping in different volunteering sections. She was also part of the coordination team in ONG Sonhar Acordado in Jundiaí for 3 years, helping transmit values to young volunteers and underprivileged children. As a travelling, gastronomy, culture and service excellence passionate, in Gouté she has found her way of professional satisfaction, helping each client turn their dream trip into reality.
